• Central Falls Man Wanted On Conspiracy, Breaking-And-Entering Charges Nabbed: Cops (patch.com) — Central Falls residents are learning that 22-year-old local resident Gershawn Torres was arrested on conspiracy and breaking-and-entering charges after an early-morning warrant pickup by the Rhode Island State Police Violent Fugitive Task Force. Authorities say Torres, who was wanted by Pawtucket police, was taken into custody without incident and turned over to Pawtucket officers for further processing.
   

• Central Falls Bar Closed 3 Days After August Stabbings (upriseri.com) — Central Falls officials have ordered a Dexter Street bar closed Sept. 25–27 and put its liquor license on six months' probation after two stabbing incidents linked to the establishment in August. Councilors, acting as the licensing board, called the penalty the city's toughest yet and cited a pattern of prior police calls, while residents can review the consent order and police report through the city clerk.
   

• New Study in RI Finds Some of the Police and Flock… (golocalprov.com) — Central Falls is among Rhode Island communities flagged by the ACLU for not disclosing which agencies receive data from Flock Safety license plate cameras, raising transparency and privacy concerns. The report says several police departments and Flock limit public access to key information about how these surveillance systems are used and how data is shared statewide.
