• RIPTA Metro Connector: Central Falls Workshop Sept. 1 (upriseri.com) — Central Falls residents get another chance next week to shape a potential high-capacity transit line that could start in their city and run through the Providence region. RIPTA is hosting a Metro Connector workshop on September 1 at 10 Higginson Avenue, with interpreters, refreshments, and a survey open through September 4 to compare light-rail and bus rapid transit options.
   

• More RI tenants say they weren't warned their property manager was a sex offender (wpri.com) — Central Falls tenants are learning that a former property manager was a registered Level 3 sex offender, and that local police received but did not act on an automated warning about his presence. The report details similar notification failures in Woonsocket and other Rhode Island cities, and outlines how state police are now working with all municipalities to tighten sex offender alert procedures.
   

• Woman accuses RI man of exposing himself while driving on I-195. He denies it (wpri.com) — A Central Falls man has been charged with indecent exposure after a Johnston woman reported a disturbing encounter with a driver on I-195 on July Fourth, though he denies the allegation. State police say license plate records and camera footage led them to the suspect's Mustang, while the defendant claims investigators twisted his words as the misdemeanor case moves through court.
