• Central Falls Parent Warns of New K-8 School Traffic Plan (upriseri.com) — A Central Falls parent is urging school officials to rethink a proposed traffic and parking plan for the new pre-K-8 school, warning it could worsen congestion and wipe out scarce street parking near his home. As demolition of the old high school begins within weeks and construction ramps up toward a 2028 opening, residents are being promised a future public hearing to weigh in on the design. 
• Central Falls Board Questions 'Unified' Special Ed Plan (upriseri.com) — Central Falls families with students receiving special education services may soon see changes as a "unified" model expands to the high school next fall. A school board member, drawing on classroom experience, questioned whether one special educator can effectively support students across five core subjects and worried the setup might isolate rather than include them, prompting calls for more data and classroom visits.
• Ceremonies for 25th anniversary of 9/11 held around RI, Mass. (wpri.com) — Central Falls residents are invited to a 9/11 remembrance ceremony at 10 a.m. at the Central Falls Fire Department on Illinois Street, part of statewide observances marking the 25th anniversary of the attacks. The roundup also highlights many other Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts ceremonies, blood drives, and service projects if you're looking to honor the day beyond city limits.
