Charlestown Woman Charged With Fraudulent Checks In Excess Of $1,500: Cops
The Charlestown woman surrendered to the law, police said.
CHARLESTOWN, RI — A Charlestown woman wanted on a charge of fraudulent checks in excess of $1,500 surrendered to the law, police said.
Heather Beauchemin, 51, turned herself in at the Wickford and was arrested about 2:15 p.m. Saturday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Beauchemin was processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with a court date, according to police.
