Board of Canvassers Seeks Poll Workers
There are several open positions for polling place workers during the Sept. 11 primary.

The is looking for residents willing to work at multiple polling locations in town during the September 11, 2012 primary election.
A Supervisor position will pay $150 for the day plus a $12 meal allowance. Clerk and Moderator positions pay $180 for the day plus a $12 meal allowance. (Workers supply their own meals and will be reimbursed the $12 with their pay.)

Poll workers will be required to report to their assigned poll location at 6 a.m. and stay until 9 p.m. They will not be permitted to leave the polling place between these hours.
To be considered, an applicant must be a registered voter in the State of Rhode Island. (City or Town does not matter.)
