Koi and their begging faces for food vs ammonia, nitrite levels skyrocketing~ What should you do?

Koi, Shubunkins and Goldfish.... are just wonderful to watch. In early spring you will see them playing, jumping out of the water or just gracefully swim by.

Koi can capture your heart so quickly... they swim to you and it makes you happy.....just for the moment....and you forget all your problems....

So, I know how and why you feel guility, so you feed them.. But, hoold on a minute.  Start by knowing your water quality.  It's really important to watch how your "Fish Activity" is in the early spring.

Just remember this: Everything that drops -rots....everything that rots becomes toxic.  Koi are bottom feeders. Very little oxygen is down there because it is taken away by the "waste".
