Coventry Man Charged With Check Kiting: Cops
The Coventry man was arrested by the financial crimes unit, police said.
COVENTRY, RI — A Coventry man was charged with check kiting, police said.
Seth Derobbio, 40, was also charged with laundering of monetary instruments, bank fraud and conspiracy, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Derobbio was arrested Tuesday by the state police financial crimes unit, the release said.

Derobbio was processed at state police headquarters, arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with an court date, according to police.
