This is the third of a monthly summer series in the park!
Similar to tai chi, qigong was developed as a healing art rather than a martial art and tends to be simpler to learn. It involves individual flowing movements that stretch and strengthen the body, ultimately putting us in touch with our vital energy (qi).&nbsp;Whether to naturally relieve or prevent pain, maintain wellbeing, or find deeper spiritual connection, qigong is beneficial.

Have an official safety check for any type of car seat, booster seat, and seat belt done for free by a police officer!&nbsp;Includes infant, front-facing, and rear-facing car seats, booster seats, and seat belts.
Parents, grandparents, babysitters, and other caregivers are welcome drop-in&nbsp;Thursday, September 3rd from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Location:&nbsp;the Bike Path Parking Lot next to the Coventry Public Library, 1672 Flat River Road., Coventry, R.I. (When you pull into the driveway for the library, this is the small parking lot on your right.)

Thinking about law school? Join Roger Williams University School of Law for the annual Providence Law School Fair, where you'll have the opportunity to explore legal education and connect with representatives from more than 40 ABA-approved law schools from across the United States.
The event begins with a Law School Admissions 101 Panel from 12:00–1:00 p.m., where admissions professionals will provide an overview of the law school admissions process and answer general questions. Following the panel, attendees are invited to meet one-on-one with representatives from participating law schools during the Law School Fair from 1:00–3:00 p.m.

Art Play Learn Online

Take an art-creation journey each week that helps you develop your art technique and your artistic expression. Each week there will be a theme which will result in following instructor-led guided art and then adding your own personal artist spice to it using a variety of art media.Some examples from the past have been a guided drawing of an endangered animal with students' individual ideas of the landscape that animal might live in. The landscape ideas are formed using the Socratic Method of asking them questions that do not necessarily have to be answered out loud- but can be. Just letting those questions bounce around your head will help ideas form and get curated. In addition to learning art techniques and expression, students gain knowledge about the theme through fun facts, and games.
