Council Approves Business Licenses
Victualling, additional hours and various liquor licenses were on the agenda.

At Monday's Town Council meeting, Council members approved the renewal of victualling licenses (food only, no alcoholic beverages.)
All licenses are contingent on meeting all regulations and having state approval. The following were approved:
- A transfer of a Class B liquor license (with victualling) from Café Gianna's LLC () to Café Gianna's Inc. The transfer was requested after owner, David Thomas bought out his partner and is now the sole proprietor.
- An application for additional hours by Zarakostas Realty LLC (, 33 Sandy Bottom Rd.) The approval will allow the restaurant to remain open 24 hours a day, with only the dining room open and accessible after 1 a.m.
- The renewal of five Class A (package store) liquor licenses. Approval for and is subject to a three-month probationary period following one past infraction per store.
- The renewal of 19 Class B licenses (full liquor licenses, including live show entertainment and dance licenses)
- Renewal of six Class B licenses (beer and wine only)
- Renewal of four Class D licenses (club license including live show and dance)
- Renewal of one Class E liquor license (pharmacy - rubbing alcohol)
