Coventry Man Charged With Escaping From Correctional Institution
The Coventry man was captured by the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force, police said.
COVENTRY, RI — A Coventry man was charged with escaping from a correctional institution, police said.
Benjamin Webster was arrested Wednesday on a warrant charging him with escape from a correctional institution, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Webster, 39, escaped Feb. 26, according to court records, and the charge against him was filed Wednesday.

Adult Correctional Institutions records list him as an inmate.

State police Lt. Col. Robert Creamer failed to respond to a request for additional information on Webster's arrest.
