2 Woonsocket Men Arrested By Special State Police Task Force And Unit: Cops

The Woonsocket men share a Cass Avenue address, according to police.

WOONSOCKET, RI — A special task force and unit apprehended two Woonsocket men Wednesday, police said.

Brian Miranda, 27, and Ryan Tetreault, 29, were arrested by the Rhode Island State Police Intelligence Unit and High Intensity Drug Trafficking task force, the state police said in a media release

Miranda was arrested on charges of carrying a pistol or revolver without license or permit, possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a crime of violence, alteration of marks of identification on firearms and large-capacity feeding devices;, and on a warrant charging him with domestic breaking and entering and domestic simple assault, the release said.

Tetreault was arrested on a charge of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, according to the release.

Miranda and Tetreault were arraigned in Sixth District Court, the release said, the release said.
