- DO WHAT I SAY, Coventry residents were asked to support the self proclaimed group or Patricia Morgans group, called COVENTRY CITIZENS TASK-FORCE preaching of lower tax rate for residents?
- Remember the catch phrase "HAD ENOUGH FIRE TAXES"?
- WE HAVE A PLAN, what was that plan again?
The NEW CCFD BOARD, EX-TASK FORCE members, REPORTED prior to the election, WE DO NOT HAVE A CONCRETE PLAN. WE HAVE IDEAS WE HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT, BUT NOTHING IMPLEMENTABLE.
Did I mention, we are half way through JULY.
- The NEW CCFD BOARD RESIGNS informally from the TASK-FORCE group. WHO IS THE TASK-FORCE GROUP NOW?
Co-Chair Fred Gralinski relinquished his duties as to Co-Chair Sean Carey. Task Force meeting dates have not been talked about since the election of the CCFD Board either on the patch or elsewhere, at least none that I have seen. Are meetings going on in the shadows between group founder MORGAN with Chair CAREY?
Someone is using the Task Force Group as a Scapegoat for their own agenda. which leaves three solid choices to pick from. Co-founders Rep. Morgan, Sen. Kettle or Chair Sean Carey.
The MAX TAX GUTHRIE headline reminded me of a tweet sent from Morgan to Kettle(added in Photo's).
Its not unknown, that the Rep. Patrica "THE WOLF" Morgan, is a union buster, GOP member, screeching out half truths to gain attention and momentum from the crowd. This time she was set out on "BUSTING" CCFD, but in the process is creating higher fire taxes for the entire town.
The House Bill that "THE WOLF" wants vetoed, is endorsed by fire district chiefs in town. Proof it will relieve majority the increased TAX burden that a flat tax rate and lower evaluations has been passed on to the residents.
- This Bill is not just for CCFD, but for the Town as a whole imagine if it becomes vetoed? Imagine if Anthony Fire District merges its commercial and Residential rates because their charter specify's an Industrial tax but not a commercial tax?
That rate alone would be $3.55 per thousand for ANTHONY RESIDENTS. These residents are also represented by Patricia Morgan. Who is "The Wolf" looking out for? The answer is herself, NOT the CCFD residents, NOT the Anthony residents, NOT the Town of Coventry. Anyway she slices it, she still doesn't have a interest in the well being of the residents or their wallets, it has been made quite clear, with the flip flop of the TASK FORCE GROUP.
CCFD residents voted down a increased budget with an increased flat tax rate, not a fire department as portrayed! Residents thought mismanagement was the cause, so management has been replaced.
CCFD Residents MUST attend tonight's Board Meeting at the Town Hall ANNEX at 7:30 and question the NEW CCFD BOARD on their loyalties?
Does the CCFD Board loyalties remain with the Task Force Group and Rep. Morgan?
or With the average Tax Payer who elected the board members to have their voices heard?
Does the Board support the Task Force Stance on vetoing Guthrie's bill and keeping residential rates high, equal with commercial rates?
I urge everyone to attend tonight's CCFD Board Meeting making your voice heard ONCE again, ask the NEW BOARD to submit a letter to the governor supporting the Guthrie Bill that will lower your taxes. Then request the letter to be filed for public records, for clarity that they so demanded previous to being elected.
CLARITY is still lacking even with a new board. Abstract days are picked to host meetings, with unmanageable times for anyone who works and is not retired.
