FIELD GOALS AND POINT AFTERS

Just sitting here watching the Pats and I thought of something. The NFL is a skidillion dollar a year business. Do they really need to put that net up for field goals and point afters? I mean, come on, what is a few footballs? Put that net down and make a few fans happy.
