Now is the time to apply for a Coventry Teacher's Alliance (CTA) Scholarship. Applications can be picked up from Mrs. Tracy in the math office. Application deadline is February 15 at 7:30 a.m. Over 80 scholarships will be awarded.

Babysitter's Training Course Registration: Registration begins today in the Youth Services Department of the for the Babysitter's Training Course that will be conducted on Feb. 23 from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. The course is for boys and girls ages 11-14. A non-refundable fee of $85 is due at registration/ Call 822-9102 for more information.

Coventry CERT Team "Associate Membership": In preparation for its next round of Basic Training to be held in the spring, the (Community Emergency Response Team), is extending the opportunity for residents who have not yet been trained to get involved. An Associate Member can attend trainings, meetings, and civic events but will not be deployed during a disaster until they complete the upcoming Basic Training Program. If interested, report to the Town Hall Annex's Police Training Room (1675 Flat River Rd.) at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8.

Job Club RI Meeting: The Job Club RI, a free program designed to teach job search skills to the unemployed and the underemployed run by local volunteer Stephen Colella, will meet tonight from 6:30-8 p.m. as part of its fall session at the West Warwick Public Library.

Joint Town Council/School Commitee Meeting and State Delegation Work Session: The Coventry Town Council, School Commitee and members of the State Delegation will meet tonight 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers to discussing the upcoming budget year and other issues.
