Kent County Water Authority Reports No Problems With Drinking Water
Residents with well water should pick up free cases of Poland Spring at CHS today.

Due to the large number of residences without power to their well water systems, The Town of Coventry Emergency Management Agency (EMA) would like to inform the community of the following:
1. Non-potable (not fit for drinking) water is available around the clock at the station located at 1110 Victory Highway. Please bring your own container to transport the water home.
2. Clean source of drinking water for those with wells (Poland Spring). Note: Bottled water will be available free of charge, to Coventry residents, on today between 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Distribution of the bottled water will take place in the rear of (40 Reservoir Road). Please use main entrance to school.

3. We have been in contact with Kent County Water Authority who reports no problems with drinking water.
Considerations for this period of power loss should include the following:

- Medical issues that require the use of electric powered health aids. i.e. nebulizers, oxygen systems etc.
- Dialysis patients with concerns should contact their dialysis provider directly. The dialysis provider will then contact the Coventry EMA for assistance. Dialysis patients should not contact the Coventry EMA directly.
- Home oxygen patients who are running low on oxygen should contact the Coventry EOC directly at 825-6911.
Points to note:
- Coventry Public Schools will remain closed until further notice
- The Coventry will resume garbage pickup today and will follow a Monday holiday schedule. If your regular pickup day was Monday, your trash will be picked up on Tuesday.
