Opening New Doors in Coventry

Ribbon cutting for Golden Ridge Housing is set for May 3.

 

Coventry Housing Associates invite the public to take part as the ribbon is cut on the newly constructed at 10 a.m. on May 3.

The new development, located at 1 Contentment Dr., will serve elderly citizens and provide 34 units for occupancy. The 4.9 million dollar capital construction project was funded by a HUD 202 grant.

“This project providing 34 new housing units comes at a time when our nation’s aging population is exploding and the need for more safe decent and affordable housing is crucial to meet the needs of our greatest generation," said Julie Leddy, Executive Director. “I am proud to say Coventry is at the forefront of what will be a continuing need for safe and affordable housing.”

Interested and qualified citizens should pick up applications at the at 14 Manchester Circle.
