Providence Man, 50, Indicted on Coventry Child Molestation Charges
The alleged events occurred between Oct., 2011 and Jan., 2012.

Providence resident, Pedro Moyet, 50, of 39 Sutton St., has been indicted by the Kent County grand jury on three counts of first-degree and five counts of second-degree child molestation, according to the attorney general's office on Wednesday.
Moyet was released on $50,000 surety bail and is on home confinement with orders to have no contact with the victim or age 16 or younger until his May 18 arraignment in Warwick Superior Court.

The charges of first-degree child molestation are based on events on or near Oct. 10, 2011, and the second-degree charge on events between Jan. 23 and Oct. 10. All events were reported to .
