Public Works and National Grid Continue to Join Forces to Restore Power
Residents still in the dark are asked to call a National Grid outage hotline.

The Town of Coventry Emergency Management Agency (EMA) in cooperation with all Emergency Response Agencies and National Grid continues its response to Topical Storm Irene and its aftermath.
Due to the widespread availability of water from local businesses we will no longer be offering drinkable water to the community.
We are working cooperatively with National Grid to restore power to all residents of our community. The Town of Coventry , working side by side with tree crews from National Grid, has made significant progress clearing closed roadways of down trees and wires. This operation will allow for greater access for National Grid line crews to respond and restore power. We are in regular contact with National Grid to keep them informed of localized power outages and areas in need by providing a prioritized list. This does not include individual residences.
