Rep. Kettle Proposes License Plate for “Gold Star” Military Families
The legislation would honor families who have lost loved ones in the military.

Senator Nicholas D. Kettle, (R-Dist. 21, Coventry, Foster, Scituate), has introduced legislation that would allow family members of military servicemen and servicewomen who died in active duty to obtain a specialty license plate.
“It is important for Rhode Island to not only honor those who have served but also the families of those who have lost loved ones in combat,” Kettle said. “This bill is a small way for our state to do just that.”
