RIDOT: Laurel Ave. Bridge July Construction Update

Week of July 1

Daytime: Construction continues for dewatering the North Abutment splash pad. Begin forming, installing reinforcement steel & placing concrete for North abutment training wall section one. Strip forms and commence backfilling and grading behind the South Abutment pile cap.

The fabrication and metalizing of the structural steel beams and precast back walls continues.

Evening: No evening work is anticipated for this project.

Week of July 8

Daytime: Construction continues for dewatering the North Abutment splash pad and forming, installing reinforcement steel and placing concrete training wall section two. The fabrication and metalizing of the steel beams and precast back walls continues.

Shop drawing development and submittals, along with material procurements to continue.

Evening: No evening work is anticipated for this project.
