ROCKY HILL SCHOOL FIELD HOCKEY TEAM TO PLAY FOR A CURE

Rocky Hill School's girls' varsity field hockey team has joined with the National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR) to participate in its fundraising campaign entitled Play4theCure, in which sports teams across the country donate proceeds from at least one game to NFCR.

The Mariners will be raising funds during their game versus Toll Gate High School Friday, October 11, 2013 beginning at 4 PM on the field hockey field at Rocky Hill School.

This is the fifth season that Rocky Hill has hosted a P4TC game. The team has raised more than $1,000 total and hopes to break their fundraising record this year.

Rocky Hill players will be selling pink ribbons and bracelets that entitle students and faculty to a dress down day Friday. They will also hold a bake sale during the school day. Players on Rocky Hill will wear pink jerseys and socks and Toll Gate will be wearing ribbons and headbands in support of the cause.
