School Committee Member Named Campaign Manager
Russell will be working between Texas and Rhode Island to fulfill her duties.

On Friday, September 16, Robert Gonzalez named Lianne Russell as Campaign Manager of his Primary Congressional campaign for District 14 formerly held by Congressman Ron Paul, who is now a Presidential Candidate. The Texas Primary Election is scheduled for March 6, 2012.
Russell is a veteran political operative and conservative movement activist, most recently Rhode Island Tea Party Steering Committee Member as well as Coventry Independent School District Member. Ms. Russell will be commuting from Texas to Rhode Island on a bi-weekly basis and will remain in her seat as School Committee Member as well as her residency where she shares a home in Coventry with her partner, Scott Mochrie.
“Lianne Russell has extensive campaign and management experience in Texas and Rhode Island, as well as a record of winning campaigns. She’s a great addition to our team,” said Gonzalez.

Prior to Russell’s grassroots activism, including a brief stint as Liaison for Operation Desert Storm/Desert Shield Association, Russell and Mochrie have operated a successful New Media and Social Networking strategy business, Openriver Productions. Her 15 years’ experience in federal and state politics include working for McCain-Palin 2008, Bush-Cheney 2004 and Congressional Candidate, Ernest Greco in 2010. In addition, she managed successful state and local races in 2012 along with her own successful bid for School Committee.
