Town Council: Business Licenses and Service Contracts
The following were approved at Monday's Town Council meeting.
- An application by Kanan Patel for new filling station and victualing licenses for Yashodhar Inc. (, 1100 Main Street) was approved with stipulations regarding the approval of DEM and RI Board of Health.
- A Hawker license by Robert Arrico (Victory Fruits & Vegetables, 18 Waterman Hill Road).
- Awarding of contracts to provide drainage pipe to the to E.J. Prescott Inc., Warwick Winwater Works Company and Seekonk Supply Inc. explained that E.J. Prescott Inc. was the lowest bidder and will be utilized the majority of the time, however contracts were also awarded to two additional businesses as backups in case of an emergency.
- Awarding of a contract to provide pavement markings for the Department of Public Works to Markings Inc.
