Annual Summer Music Preview Drum & Bugle Corps Competition July 3

From The City of Crantson:The City of Cranston is alerting residents and motorists that temporary parking restrictions and detours will be in place in the Stadium section of the city on July 3 to accommodate the 29th Annual Summer Music Preview Drum & Bugle Corps Competition at Cranston Stadium.

The family-oriented event is expected to attract a large number of spectators along with performers and staff. To ensure the safety of everyone in the stadium area, temporary parking restrictions and detours will be posted on surrounding streets.

The following roads will be CLOSED to traffic from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. on July 3:

· Gansett Ave., from Fiat Ave. to Park Ave.

· Trainer St., from Gansett Ave. to Oak St.

· Duckworth Ave., from Gansett Ave. to Oak St.

· Packard St., from Gansett Ave. to Jordan Ave.

· Jordan Ave., from Packard St. to Peerless St.

· Peerless St., from Jordan Ave. to Fiat Ave.

All motorists traveling in Cranston should expect delays in the stadium area and are strongly advised to seek alternate routes.

The event will take place, rain or shine, at the Cranston Stebbins Stadium on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 beginning at 7PM and concluding at approximately 10PM. Box office opens at 4PM and gates open at 5PM.
