BASICS Annual Concert Tonight

BASICS (Benefiting All Students in Cranston Schools) has been keeping the music alive in Cranston for a few years now.

And for the fourth year in a row, students taking part in the music program thanks to BASICS will be performing for the city at its annual concert tonight.

The show starts at 7 p.m. at the Cranston High School West auditorium. Tickets are $7 and can be bought at the door. Arrival begins at 6 p.m.

More than 100 students from all of the 17 elementary schools in Cranston will be performing in the show.

Proceeds from the event go back to BASICS to keep the organization's nonprofit status and to keep supporting the music program in the elementary schools.
