Block Party: Legoland Coming To Providence This Weekend

PROVIDENCE, RI — The world of LEGO is coming to life at the Providence Place Mall this weekend. Starting Friday, LEGOLand New York's "Resort On The Road" will make a stop in Rhode Island.

The event will run through the weekend. Visitors will have the chance to take photos with costumed characters, large-scale LEGO models, meet LEGOLand kid reporters, ride a simulation of the dragon coaster, and ride driving school cars. Master model builders will hold building activities.

The tour is coming ahead of the opening of the LEGOLand resort in New York next summer. Event attendees will have the opportunity to buy annual passes to the park.
