Boys Tennis: West Dominates and Sweeps Pilgrim

The Pilgrim Patriots boys tennis team traveled to Cranston West for a match on Wednesday afternoon. The Falcons won in convincing fashion, winning all 7 seven matches, the 5 individual ones and two doubles matches.

West junior Tom Morgan defeated C.J. Gillis 6-1, 6-0. Dan and Will Accetta both won their individual matches for the Falcons. Will Accetta and Ryan Dvrigan did not lose a single point in their matches, winning 6-0, 6-0.

The Falcons Eric Cannistrachi won the final singles matchup defeating Danny Gillis. 

Falcons assistant coach Jim Lucas was pleased with the results of the day. "It is an exciting start in the new division," he said. "The kids played well and the doubles teams worked together well," the coach added.
