Cinco de Mayo in RI

CRANSTON, RI — Cinco de Mayo celebrates the Mexican army’s 1862 victory at the Battle of Puebla. It happened on May 5, of course. Lots of restaurants, of all types, are having Cinco de Mayo specials, but here are a few of the top Mexican restaurants in our area. A couple of parties are also planned. Although Friday night is supposed to be stormy, but weather should be fine for a Providence block party, set for Saturday.
