Cranston Native a PBN 40 under Forty

David Rozen has been selected as one of Providence Business News' 40 Under Forty winners.

David Rozen, a senior vice president of finance for Corvias Group, has been named one of Providence Business News' 40 under Forty.

Rozen, a Cranston native, is in charge of Corvias Group's financial matters. While working for the East Greenwich-based real estate firm, he helped to procure 17,000 units, raised more than $1 billion in private placement and municipal funding and has been involved with "multiple restructurings and workouts," according to a release.

“David is one of the hardest working and most dedicated professionals that I have ever had the pleasure of working with, “ said John Picerne, President and CEO of Corvias Group. “His commitment and strategic management skills have been a huge asset to the Corvias team and this award is well deserved.”

Rozen's accomplishments in the workplace are overshadowed by his community involvement. He supports the , an organization that offers hippotherapy and therapeutic horseback riding for children and adults with disabilities and is involved with the Matty Fund, which provides resources for families with children with epilepsy. 

Rozen's charitable work is inspired by his daughter Lucy, whose name will grace a charity event he's co-organizing. The golf event, Links for Lucy, will take place this summer.

He is also involved with Wide Horizon for Children, a child welfare and adoption agency.
