Cranston Native to Present for Inquiry 2013

Kathryn A. Lachance of Cranston, was selected to present as part of Inquiry 2013 at Lebanon Valley College. Inquiry 2013 coincided with the Council for Undergraduate Research's week-long celebration of student research and achievement. LVC celebrates the academic, dramatic, athletic, musical, and experiential achievements of the student body. Events began on Sunday, April 14, and concluded Saturday, April 20. Lachance, a junior psychobiology major, presented "The Ripple Effect: Characteristics and Actions Connecting to High-Risk Alcohol Use ". Lachance is a graduate of Cranston High School West.

Inquiry 2013 included poster presentations, art displays, poetry readings, oral research presentations, and musical recitals. Every academic department on campus nominated students to share their accomplishments during that week.

Lebanon Valley College is located in Annville, Pa., just 15 minutes east of Hershey and 35 minutes east of Harrisburg. Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Baltimore are all approximately two hours from LVC.
