Drunken Driving With Child Passenger, Animal Cruelty: Cranston PD Log

CRANSTON, RI — Cranston police arrested the following people between Saturday and Tuesday.

Tuesday

4:42 p.m. — Derek Dennis, 58, of Enfield, Connecticut, was charged with identity fraud and obstructing an officer in the execution of duty. Police said the arrest came after a call for service to the TD Bank on Phenix Avenue.

6:36 p.m. — Emilie Liberatore, 23, of Warwick, was charged with child endangerment. Police said the arrest came after a call for service to the Stop & Shop on Warwick Avenue.

9:26 p.m. — Michael Rasberry, 27, of Cranston, was charged with domestic vandalism.

11:25 a.m. — Breanna Davis, 37, of Pawtucket, was charged with shoplifting. Police said the arrest came from a warrant issued from a previous incident.

1:28 p.m. — Shayne Barnes, 44, of Scituate, was charged with violation of a protective order and domestic disorderly conduct.

4:44 a.m. — Lanc Mosley, 51, of Cranston, was charged with domestic simple assault (third offense) and sex offender registration required.

Monday

4:31 p.m. — Sonya Schmalried, 33, of North Kingstown, was charged with driving while intoxicated with a child under 13 as a passenger with a blood alcohol level unknown and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Police said the arrest came after a call for service from the Chase Bank on Pontiac Avenue.

5:52 p.m. — Lilliam Abreu, 43, of Cranston, was charged with care of dogs and unnecessary cruelty to animals.

1:56 p.m. — Chu Her, 37, of Foster, was charged with a warrant out of the Foster Police Department. Police said the arrest came after a crash at the intersection of Park Avenue and Reservoir Avenue.

Sunday

11:06 p.m. — Kwabena Kyei-Poakwa, 25, of Cranston, was charged with domestic simple assault and battery and disorderly conduct.

8:17 p.m. — Sean Lauffer, 36, of Cranston, was charged with possession of methamphetamine.

9:19 a.m. — Florence Izzo, 57, of Cranston, was charged with assault on a person over 60 and disorderly conduct.

12:33 p.m. — Allie Rosemarino, 33, of Johnston, was charged with violation of no-contact order and domestic disorderly conduct.

1:36 a.m. — George Sweeney, 56, of Cranston, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with blood alcohol content unknown and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Police said the arrest came after a crash in the 100th block of East Street.

Saturday

10:03 p.m. — Robert Polion, 52, of Warren, was charged with disorderly conduct.

9:45 p.m. — Stephanie Polion, 50, of Cranston, was charged with disorderly conduct.

10:55 p.m. — Victor D Roots, 26, of Cranston, was charged with domestic disorderly conduct and domestic simple assault.
