East, West Seniors Get $1,000 Dunkin' Scholarships

Congrats to Adreienne Gendron of Cranston East and Elena Zacaro of Cranston West.

Two Cranston students from each side of the city got $1,000 Dunkin Donuts scholarships, the coffee and donut chain announced.

Adrienne Gendron of Cranston High School East and Elena Zarcaro of Cranston High School West both won the scholarships as part of the 17th annual Dunkin Donuts' Scholarship program. More than 100 scholarships were awarded throughout the area.

“Since the inception of this program, the need for scholarships has increased exponentially,” said Bob Zwiener, Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee.  “We are so proud to offer this initiative to our loyal guests who support us each day, and we hope that these scholarships will help ease the financial burden of achieving a college education for local families.”
