AARP will provide low-to-middle income residents, with special attention given to those age 60 and older, assistance with their income tax preparation. Assistance will take place every Monday at the Cranston Public Library's Central Branch beginning Feb. 7, 2011 and ending April 11, 2011. (Note, the library is closed Feb. 21st in observance of President's Day. The AARP program will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 22nd instead.)
Assistance is given from 9 a.m. until noon on a first-come, first-serve basis. Appointments will not be taken. Please bring a copy of last year's tax return with you.
