RIVERSIDE, R.I. (March 22, 2012) Today, Bay View Academy announces its annual Manhattan at the Bay cabaret performance that will showcase the fabulous talents of local students. Since its start in 1983, the fundraiser has enthralled audiences with its dynamic Broadway-quality performances, fine food, and entertainment. This year’s celebration, “Reach for the Stars,” will be held from Thursday, April 26th through Sunday, April 29th at the school in Riverside. Tickets are now on sale.

“BayView Academy is proud to support the arts through its signature cabaret event, Manhattan at the Bay. This year’s musical revue, “Reach for the Stars” is full of new faces and talent that have been working hard and are excited to perform for audiences in April,” said Elaine Tanury Allen ’87, volunteer Event Chair. “The success from past years’ shows has allowed us to continue this wonderful tradition and bring quality entertainment to the Greater-Providence community.”
Manhattan At The Bay has grown to be the cultural and philanthropic foundation of Bay View. Branching between present students and alumnae, the performance brings together the best singers and dancers for what is guaranteed to be a magnificent show. What started as a ‘small’ show has grown into an award winning, four-day weekend spectacular.
