Peak Oil & Transition Towns 101

It will be the defining challenge of the 21st century for Rhode Islanders and this country--how our communities will survive the multiple problems of peak oil, economic stagnation, and climate change. How do we foster resilience in our children as they will inherit these challenges in their lifetimes?

This is an opportunity for individuals from all walks of life to learn more about Peak Oil and how to become part of a global network of Transition Towns that are working together to answer these questions.

This event is free and open to the public.

The William Hall Library is handicapped accessible.

Please call (401-781-2450), email (hall@cranstonlibrary.org), or stop by the Library for more information.
