
Newberry Public Relations & Marketing’s Social Media Marketing University (SMMU) program will host an educational Facebook seminar on June 7 from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Centerville Seminar Center, 875 Centerville Rd., Building 2, Suite 5 in Warwick. This seminar, taught by SMMU faculty member Michelle Girasole, will guide you on setting up your company or brand Facebook page properly, getting people to “like” it, writing and posting status updates, integrating mobile technology with your page, and using your page to best market your product or service. This workshop is geared for beginners with limited Facebook knowledge/experience. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet with WiFi Internet access. This event is open to the public.
