This event, hosted by the Funeral Consumers Alliance of Rhode Island, will review the pitfalls of prepaid funerals, as well as present tips for staying out of debt and for shopping for services.
The guest speaker, John Slocum, is Executive Director of the National Funeral Consumers Alliance and author of the book "Final Rights: Reclaiming the American Way of Death."
This event is free and open to the public.
