Zefiro vocal ensemble will perform two concerts entitled Love, I feel my spirit, featuring Morten Lauridsen’s Fire Madrigals and Magnificat of Robert White, as well as works by Gibbons, Byrd, Weelkes, and others.
Zefiro is a Boston- and Providence-based a cappella octet dedicated to performing music from the 16th to 21st Centuries. Our credits include winning a project grant from the Somerville Arts Council, chapter of the Massachusetts Cultural Council and National Endowment for the Arts; and participation in the Society of Historically Informed Performance (SoHIP) Summer Concert Series for the past three years.
