FBI Agents in Warwick for Terrorism Probe Following Fatal Boston Shooting

FBI agents on Tuesday descended on Warwick to search a home as part of a terrorism investigation following a fatal shooting in Boston earlier in the day.
Authorities searched a home on Aspinet Drive, according to NBC 10. No arrests were immediately announced.
In the Roslindale section of Boston Tuesday morning, police said a man who was the subject of a terrorism probe was shot to death during a confrontation with police.

Authorities said Usaama Rahim, 26, of Roslindale, had been under surveillance by the Joint Terrorism Task Force. Unarmed agents approached Rahim outside a CVS on Washington Street when he brandished a large knife, Boston Police Commissioner William Evans said during a news conference Tuesday.
The agents retreated and Rahim charged at themβat which point a Boston police officer and an FBI agent fired at the suspect, hitting him twice in the torso.

Rahim was taken to Brigham and Womenβs Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
β(Officers) did everything they could do to get the individual to drop the knife,β Evans said, adding thereβs a video that captured the incident.
Rahimβs brotherβa Boston imamβissued this statement:
βWe are deeply grieved by the loss of Usaamah.β
There are reports that the FBI and State Police may be in Everett searching an apartment there that may be connected to the incident.
