Man Dies In Cranston's Adult Correctional Institutions: Reports
The man suffered a medical emergency overnight Saturday and later died at the hospital, reports say.
CRANSTON, RI — Authorities are investigating after an inmate died overnight Saturday while in custody at Cranston's Adult Correctional Institutions, according to multiple reports.
The man's cellmate said he appeared to be in "medical distress" just before his death, according to WPRI and The Providence Journal.
Emergency responders provided medical help immediately, but the man later died at the hospital, both outlets reported.
