Man Found Murdered In SUV In Providence: Police

PROVIDENCE, RI — Providence police are investigating the death of a man found in his vehicle late Tuesday night as a homicide. The vehicle was found in the Elmwood section of the city around 11 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to Providence Police, the victim was found at the intersection of Mitchell and Melrose Streets in his blue Ford Escape, suffering from gunshot wounds. He died at the scene and was later identified as 36-year-old Luis Santos of Woonsocket.
