Merry Christmas And Happy Holidays To Rhode Island Patch Readers

CRANSTON, RI — First, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of our Patch readers here in Rhode Island.

I've only lived in the Ocean State for a little over a year, but in that short amount of time, I've grown to love and be grateful for this little state I now call home.

From experiencing a WaterFire for the first time, camping at Fisherman's Memorial State Park in Narragansett, getting a delicious meal at the Edgewood Cafe in Cranston and journeying out to Block Island this past summer, there's now so many things in Rhode Island that bring me joy — especially covering all these wonderful communities

And, at this time of the year, it is always good to be joyous, forget about all your worries, and take in the Christmas and holiday spirit, even for a day or two.
