Park Theater to Present Forever Young, Neil Young Tribute Band
The band started at Pawtucket's Stone Soup a decade ago and is celebrating its anniversary.

CRANSTON, RI -- Forever Young's tenth anniversary show promises to bring back all the original members, plus some special guests.
The show is Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. at the Park Theatre 848 Park Ave., Cranston. The opening act is TRINITY, a Crosby, Stills, and Nash tribute band.
The Forever Young band started at Pawtucket's Stone Soup, and the performers are from all over Rhode Island. Current members are John Amitrano, of West Greenwich, on acoustic and electric bass; Amy Bedard, of Greenville, contributing violin, vocals, guitar and keyboard; John Fuzek, also of Greenville, acoustic guitars, vocals, keyboard and banjo; Dan Lilley, of East Providence, electric and acoustic guitars, vocals and harmonica; Gary St. Germain, of Chepachet, drums and percussion; and Pete Vendettuoli, of Carolina, electric and acoustic guitars, banjo, mandolin, keyboard and vocals. Andy Thresher, of Exeter, is the stage crew and guitar tech.

But coming back for the anniversary show are past members, Becky Chace, of Barrington, on acoustic guitar, vocals, keyboard and tambourine; Mark Cutler, of Cranston, electric and acoustic guitars, vocals and mandolin, and Leo Dumas, of New Bedford, Mass., drums percussion and vocals.
"Forever Young Band was originally conceived after Mark Cutler, John Fuzek and Dan Lilley performed the Neil Young classic “Powderfinger” as a group set closer for a RI Songwriters Association show at Stone Soup Coffeehouse in Pawtucket," in March, 2006, according to Fuzek.

Phil Hicks, the band's original drummer, died in 2010.
