• Teen charged with murder in deadly Providence shooting (wpri.com) — A Providence teen has been charged with murder in the May killing of Joseph Ramos, while an earlier suspect from Cranston, Charles Ortiz, has now pleaded no contest to lesser charges including drive-by shooting and conspiracy. The murder charge against Ortiz was dropped, and he remains on home confinement under Department of Corrections supervision.
