Police: Man Keeps Stealing Shrimp from Stop and Shop

Cranston Police are hoping to net a serial shrimp thief who has been habitually trawling the shrimp section of a local Stop and Shop.

Police said the man has been entering the Garfield Avenue store and hiding large amounts of shrimp under his clothing before walking out without making any effort to pay.

The suspect is believed to have targeted other stores in the area as well.

He is described as standing between 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and is in his 20s to early 30s. In most cases, he has been wearing a knit hat on his head and wearing a heavy jacket and dark pants.
