T.J. Maxx In Cranston Catches Fire
The Cranston T.J. Maxx location will be closed until further notice.

CRANSTON, RI — The T.J. Maxx in Cranston caught fire Monday, according to the Cranston Fire Department.
Officials said the fire started at the retailer on Chapel View Boulevard around 9:30 a.m. It took crews about 20 minutes to extinguish the flames.
Fire officials said the building sustained damage to the rear part of the roof. Officials are investigating if construction being done on the roof caused the fire.
