A few Girls from the Thunderbirds Hockey Team earned post-season accolades. The most in our program to date winning awards so it's great to honor them for their hard work this season and see where our program is going.

Abbey Torres (Junior)- 1st Team All-Division Goalie and Nangle Leadership Award

Lindsay Hadfield (Senior)- 2nd Team All-Division Forward, Hobey Baker Character Award, and RI Reds Heritage Society Chuck Scherza Unsung Hero Award for the outstanding forward in the state. The RI Reds Heritage Society picks one forward, defense, and goalie each year. This is the 1st time we have ever had a recipient of this award. Lindsay has won more awards then any Thunderbirds player we have ever had. She is setting the bar for future players in our program. She will be honored at the State House on the 20th for the Hobey Baker Award and this Saturday at the boys RIIL championships for the Chuck Scherza Award.
