Two Cranston High School students got a sweet prize this past weekend from Honey Dew Donuts — and it wasn't a donut.
Erinn Reilly, a student at Cranston High School East, and Thomas Morgan, a student at West, each receieved $250 scholarships from Honey Dew Donuts at an awards ceremony on Saturday at the Sheraton Hotel in Needham, Mass.
“With shops throughout New England, our Scholarship Program has a wide reach within Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire,” says Honey Dew Donuts Founder Richard Bowen. “We’re happy to be able to help so many deserving students in our local communities offset the cost of books and other expenses as they begin their college careers.”
