Cumberland Company Laying Off More Than 150 Workers: Department Of Labor
The company is going out of business, according to the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training filing.
CUMBERLAND, RI —A Cumberland company is laying off more than 150 workers, according to a Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training filing.
The department of labor said it received a Worker Adjustment And Retraining Notification from the Allied Group Tuesday listing 154 layoffs.
The layoffs are due to the commercial printer closing, according to the filing.

The Allied Group layoffs begin May 25 and continue through June 6, the notification said.
