MA Man Wanted In CT Captured By RI State Police: Cops
The Massachusetts man was a fugitive from justice from Connecticut, police said.
A Massachusetts man wanted in Connecticut was apprehended by the Rhode Island State Police, police said.
Jason Vergara, 37, was arrested Thursday by the Rhode Island State Police Adult Correctional Institutionas Investigations Unit, the state police said in a media release.
Vergara, a resident of Worcester, was wanted as a fugitive from justice from the state of Connecticut, according to the release.

"Mr. Vergara was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he was remanded to the custody of the Sheriffs Department pending his return to Connecticut," the release said.
